Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an AutoCAD Draftsperson. The role involves creating detailed designs and technical drawings for various interior projects. Responsibilities include preparing AutoCAD drawings, working closely with the design and project teams to ensure drawings align with project specifications, and revising drawings as necessary. The candidate will also be responsible for interpreting design intent, ensuring accurate measurements, and maintaining drawing documentation. Collaboration to meet project deadlines and adherence to quality standards is essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing preparation
- Ability to interpret design plans and convert them into actionable technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of materials, measurements, and drafting standards
- Attention to detail, accuracy in work, and excellent spatial and visualization skills
- Ability to collaborate with design teams and adapt to project changes
- Experience in interior design, architectural drafting, or related fields
- Proficiency in any 3D drafting software is an added advantage
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields is preferred
