Location: Bodakdev / Prahlad Nagar, Ahmedabad
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: 1–3 Years

About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated AutoCAD Draftsman (Civil) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in preparing civil and architectural drawings using AutoCAD and basic 3D visualization using SketchUp. This role requires excellent drafting skills, a strong understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate and high-quality technical documentation.
The selected candidate will play an important role in preparing design drawings, updating revisions, and supporting project execution from the planning stage through completion. Accuracy, technical knowledge, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D civil and architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop site layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Create basic 3D models and presentation views using SketchUp.
- Revise and update drawings based on design changes and client feedback.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Review drawings for completeness, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision history of all drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and company standards.
- Support quantity estimation and project documentation when required.
- Organize drawing files and maintain project records for future reference.
Required Skills
- Strong command of AutoCAD for drafting and detailing.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp for 3D modeling.
- Good understanding of civil engineering and construction drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, dimensions, layers, and annotations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in civil or construction projects.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects will be an added advantage.
