Role Description The AutoCAD Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical and architectural drawings using CAD software for ongoing projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing shop drawings, updating and revising plans based on design changes, and coordinating closely with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and feasibility. The role involves interpreting design concepts, adhering to relevant codes and standards, and maintaining organized drawing files and documentation.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring consistent collaboration with the local project team and site visits as needed to verify measurements and design details.
Qualifications
- Ability to create precise Technical Drawing and general Drawing for architectural and interior projects.
- Experience in preparing Shop Drawings for fabrication, installation, and construction coordination.
- Proficiency in developing Architectural Drawings aligned with design intent and project specifications.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and spatial planning to translate concepts into accurate plans.
- Strong AutoCAD skills; familiarity with other CAD/BIM tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to read and interpret design briefs, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams on-site in Ahmedabad.
