We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman cum Quantity Surveyor with a solid understanding of civil engineering and architecture to join our team. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings, preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and carrying out quantity takeoffs for architecture and civil projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret architectural and civil drawings, working drawings, and building control drawings
- Prepare accurate BOQs and quantity takeoffs for architecture and civil engineering projects
- Create, modify, and update drawings in AutoCAD as per project requirements
- Cross-check quantities against drawings and revise as designs evolve
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure accuracy in drawings and quantities
- Maintain organized documentation of BOQs, takeoffs, and drawing revisions using MS Office
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman and/or Quantity Surveyor
- Good understanding of civil engineering and architectural concepts, materials, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and civil drawings confidently
- Great command of AutoCAD (2D drafting)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Fast learner with good attention to detail
- Strong communication and coordination skills
