Role Description This is a full-time Autocad Drafter role based in Bengaluru, offered in a hybrid model with a mix of in-office and work-from-home arrangements. The Autocad Drafter will produce accurate technical drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details based on architectural concepts and design guidelines. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating architectural and shop drawings, coordinating revisions with architects, and ensuring drawings align with project standards and local regulations. The role involves organizing drawing sets, maintaining file management, and supporting the project team with clear documentation for consultants and contractors. The drafter will collaborate with architects and designers, participate in review sessions, and help resolve drawing-related queries throughout the design and construction process.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for architectural projects.
- Proficiency in preparing Architectural Drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Experience creating and revising Shop Drawings for construction and fabrication.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and the ability to translate design intent into precise CAD documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in dimensions and annotations, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate clearly with architects and consultants.
- Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field, with relevant studio or office experience.
- Knowledge of local building codes and standards, especially those applicable in Bengaluru, is beneficial.
