Role and Company Overview:
We are a high-volume engineering firm based in Florida producing permit-ready pool plan sets at scale. This is a production role — you will be drafting complete pool plan sets daily from provided dimensions, working as a fully integrated remote team member. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-output environments and know your way around a permit set, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Draft complete, permit-ready pool plan sets in AutoCAD from provided dimensions
- Perform structural calculations for each project
- Determine plumbing sizing, pump placement, and pump sizing
- Complete a minimum of 3 pool plans per day (top performers hit 4–6)
- Submit finished work directly to QC — plans must be rework-free before review
- Communicate with the internal team via CRM and group chats
- Assist with solar or electrical drafting during volume surges if qualified
Requirements:
- Proven experience drafting permit-ready swimming pool plan sets — not 3D rendering, not landscape/cosmetic design
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency
- Solid understanding of pool structural calculations, plumbing systems, and pump sizing
- Ability to produce permit-ready construction documents
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-turnaround drafting environment
- USA pool drafting experience
- Solar or electrical drafting knowledge is a bonus
