Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Autocad Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Autocad Designer will create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for furniture layouts, joinery details, and product designs using AutoCAD and related design tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting client and internal design requirements, preparing architectural and construction drawings, and optimizing space planning for various furniture installations. The role involves coordinating with the design, production, and sales teams to refine designs, ensure feasibility, and support accurate manufacturing. The designer will also review and update drawings as needed, maintain drawing standards, and ensure documentation is complete and organized.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings skills, with experience translating design concepts into precise technical plans.
- Candidates should possess Drawing and Space Planning skills, with the ability to visualize layouts and optimize furniture placement for functionality and aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand requirements, and provide clear design inputs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software, with a solid understanding of furniture design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical documents, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
- Experience in furniture or interior design projects, and familiarity with industry standards and best practices, is preferred.
