Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for an Australian Tax Accountant. The successful candidate will manage tax compliance, prepare tax returns, review financial statements, and oversee accounting processes for Australian clients. You will ensure adherence to Australian Tax Office (ATO) regulations and provide accurate, high-quality deliverables. The role includes collaborating with global and local teams to meet client-specific requirements under a secure and streamlined workflow.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Australian Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and handling various types of tax-related assignments
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Australian Financial Statements and conducting detailed financial analysis
- Solid knowledge of Australian Accounting principles and practices with the ability to manage accounts effectively
- Familiarity with Australian tax laws, including BAS/GST compliance processes
- Experience with accounting software like Xero and MYOB is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CA qualification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to handle high volumes of work during peak periods
