About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and file Australian GST, PAYG, and BAS returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.
- Reconcile bank accounts, prepare financial statements, and maintain general ledgers compliant with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
- Support audit readiness by organizing documentation, responding to auditor queries, and ensuring compliance with ATO regulations.
- Collaborate with Australian-based clients via email and video calls to clarify transactional data, tax treatments, and financial reporting needs.
- Use Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online to process bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll entries, and accruals.
- Stay updated on Australian tax law changes and advise internal teams on process adjustments to maintain compliance.
