Australia Payroll Specialist
Payroll
This position will provide Human Resources support services to onshore employees with a high level of
effectiveness, efficiency, and a focus on customer service. The specialist will perform all aspects of
payroll including pre-payroll, gross to net and post payroll recon and validation, administrative,
transactional, and data/records management activities, for Australia.
Knowledge & Experience
• 5 to 8 Years of Experience in relevant payroll
• Should have experience in end-to-end Payroll Processing for Australia
• Should have end to end experience in processing time information.
• Sound knowledge of statutory compliances of Australian payroll.
• Should know how to calculate Tax and social security components.
• Should be familiar with year start/Year end activities of Australia payroll.
• Should be able to reconcile Group Certificate
• Should have experience in handling voice and email query of employees, managers and HRBPs.
• Should have experience in handling voice and email query of client/Customer (85% Data & 15%
calls)
Formal Education & Certification
• Bachelor / Master’s degree in any discipline
• Basic computer knowledge required (MS- Office Applications)
• Proven ability to adapt to new tools by applying logical approach
Skill Set
• HRO Experience in Australia
• Basic knowledge of Workday/SF
• Ability to Work on a Deadline and handle pressure
• Strong email and voice communication skills
• Strong communication, problem solving and resolution skills.
• Must be able to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, work independently, and have good
organizational skills.
• Must have good experience and exposure in direct or telephonic communication with onshore
clients
Working Conditions
• Occasional extended work hours to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work 24*7 shift timings.
• Ability to deliver effective training sessions.
