Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant role based in Surat. The Accountant will be responsible for managing Australia-specific financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, handling payroll processes, and generating financial reports for internal and client use. The role also involves advising clients on best accounting practices and providing support during audits.
Qualifications
- Proficient in accounting principles and financial reporting for Australian businesses
- Experience in tax compliance and regulatory requirements in Australia
- Strong skills in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and payroll processing
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools like Xero, MYOB, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and report preparation
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in working with offshore clients and large accounting firms is a plus
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualifications preferred
