About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled TLI:Ed Tech TOSA to join our dynamic learning resources team. This position will focus on coaching and supporting a third of our schools, ensuring they thrive in the digital age. With a commitment to 187 days of work, plus additional summer days, you'll play a vital role in our educational technology initiatives. You will have a voice and opportunity to help shape what ed tech looks like in Aurora Public Schools. 

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor staff and administrators on effective blended learning strategies.
  • Provide training and support for various ed tech platforms and tools.
  • Assist in the implementation and integration of new educational technologies.
  • Offer guidance on best practices for online teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with the instructional team to enhance digital literacy.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of ed tech initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in educational technology.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff.
  • Develop and deliver professional development workshops.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity in the use of technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a coaching or mentoring role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of various ed tech platforms and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships.
  • Familiarity with blended learning models and strategies.
  • Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
  • Creative and innovative thinking, with a passion for education.
  • Ability to adapt and stay updated with technological advancements.
  • Valid teaching certification or willingness to obtain one.
