The mission of the Augustine Institute is to help others understand, live and share their faith. We accomplish this through our graduate school, media production, and parish programs. Position Summary
The Advancement Prospect Researcher will assist with identifying and researching potential donors and funding sources to support the fundraising efforts of the Augustine Institute. They will identify, evaluate, and analyze potential donors, primarily focusing on assessing wealth capacity, philanthropic inclination, and connection to the Augustine Institute. They will create detailed profiles, manage donor pipelines within the Salesforce CRM and perform proactive research on prospects.
Our ideal candidate possesses excellent research, writing, project management and organizational skills and has a broad understanding of fundraising strategies. Preferred applicants are deadline-driven team players with outstanding multitasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities
•
Conduct background research on potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
•
Gather and analyze financial, philanthropic, and biographical data to assess donor capacity and giving potential.
•
Maintain and update prospect research databases and records.
•
Prepare concise and informative research reports to support fundraising campaigns.
•
Collaborate with the development team to identify new prospects and strategies for donor engagement.
•
Monitor news and trends related to donors and the nonprofit sector.
•
Assist with other fundraising-related tasks as needed.

Experience with Salesforce preferred.
