Audubon is currently seeking a Carpenter/Concrete Finisher II to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Carpenter/Concrete Finisher II performs skilled carpentry work involved in construction, maintenance, and repair; performs related and other work as required to maintain facilities in a safe and efficient condition.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform tasks involving physical labor on construction projects, including the following: Layout, interior framing, cold form metal framing, gypsum board installation, rebar installation, door, frame, & hardware installation, acoustical ceiling installation, millwork installation, and other assigned duties.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings and other structures.
- Knowledge of survey principles.
- Knowledge of layout of foundations forms and building framing.
- Safe use of power tools such as saws, drills, planes, sanders, routers and grinders.
- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Related trade school education is preferred.
- Three years' experience in the construction industry.
- Three years' experience as a craft carpenter.
- Must be able to obtain site & Safety training certifications required for the project.
- Civil construction and quality assurance practices and procedures.
- Construction safety practices.
- Must be able to obtain site and Safety training certifications required for the project.
- Proven experience as civil construction carpenter.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and HSE guidelines.
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively.
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently when required.
- Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety procedures.
- Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing. Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements.
