This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about public service and eager to turn raw data into meaningful insights. You'll be a part of our data visualization efforts, helping internal teams and external stakeholders understand complex information through intuitive dashboards. Key Responsibilities Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI based on provided datasets Conduct interviews with data users to understand their needs, workflows, and visualization preferences Analyze datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights Present findings in clear, compelling formats that support decision-making and audit objectives Collaborate with auditors, program managers, and IT staff to refine data products Continuously improve dashboard functionality and user experience based on feedback What We're Looking For A genuine interest in public service and improving government operations Strong analytical thinking and a curious mindset—you ask "why" and "what if" often Excellent communication skills, especially when translating technical data into plain language Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools (training available) Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Bachelor's degree with a focus on analytics, computer science, information systems, public administration, economics, statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Bonus Points Experience with SQL, Excel, or other data wrangling tools Exposure to government or nonprofit environments A portfolio of dashboards or data visualizations (optional but encouraged)
