Role Description The Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves planning and executing audits of financial records, internal controls, and operational processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing documentation, testing controls, performing data analysis, preparing working papers, and drafting clear audit findings and recommendations. The Auditor will meet with client stakeholders to understand processes, discuss observations, and support the implementation of corrective actions. The role also includes staying current with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices, while collaborating with colleagues to deliver timely, high-quality audit engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and internal control frameworks.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and interpret complex information accurately.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and commonly used accounting or audit software tools.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and interacting with stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and attention to detail in all audit activities.
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a structured team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in audit, assurance, or related financial roles is preferred but not mandatory for strong entry-level candidates.
