About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Audit Manager (CA Inter) to join our Audit & Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising statutory, tax, internal, and concurrent audit assignments across a diverse client base while leading a team of article assistants and audit executives.
Eligibility
- CA Intermediate (Group I/II or Both Groups)
- Minimum 5 years of audit experience, including articleship
- Experience in a Chartered Accountant firm is mandatory
- Willingness to travel within Kerala for client assignments
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and other assurance engagements.
- Lead audit teams and allocate assignments effectively.
- Review audit working papers and ensure compliance with applicable Standards on Auditing.
- Finalize financial statements and prepare audit reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal control systems.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income-tax Act, GST, and other applicable laws.
- Coordinate with clients for audit schedules, information requirements, and issue resolution.
- Assist partners in managing client relationships and delivering assignments within agreed timelines.
- Guide, mentor, and review the work of article assistants and junior staff.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and audit quality.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, GST, Income Tax, and the Companies Act.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally Prime, and accounting/audit software.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and client management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under deadlines.
- Leadership and team management skills.
Preferred
- Exposure to ERP environments.
- Experience in audits of manufacturing, trading, service, and charitable organizations.
- Knowledge of forensic audits or due diligence assignments will be an added advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual CTC: ₹2.40 Lakhs – ₹3.60 Lakhs
