Role Description The Audit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. The role involves planning, executing, and reviewing statutory and internal audits, including detailed examination of financial statements and supporting records. The Audit Manager will lead and supervise audit teams, allocate work, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include identifying control weaknesses, assessing risks, recommending process improvements, and preparing clear audit reports and documentation. The role also requires regular interaction with clients, coordination with internal stakeholders, and contribution to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and firm practices.
Qualifications
- Strong command of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Hands-on experience in conducting Financial Audits, including audit planning, testing, documentation, and reporting.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify trends, variances, and control gaps, and to propose practical recommendations.
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent; prior experience in audit management or senior audit roles is preferred.
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with audit tools, accounting software, and MS Office; commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development.
