Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for an Audit Intern. The Audit Intern will be involved in conducting statutory audits, tax audits and gst audit under the guidance of senior team members. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, preparing audit reports, reviewing compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting the team with research on taxation laws and practices. Additionally, the role will require maintaining accurate records and providing insights to improve clients' financial and operational processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify issues, and suggest actionable solutions
- Excellent Communication Skills for reporting findings and interacting with colleagues and clients
- Basic knowledge of Finance and concepts such as bookkeeping and cash flow
- Proficiency in understanding and preparing Financial Statements
- Knowledge of Auditing standards and practices
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools
- Pursuing or completed studies in Commerce, Accounting, or related fields such as CA.
