Eligibility Criteria- ACCA Affiliates
Lead and execute audits from planning through to completion in accordance with UK audit standards. Deliver full audit cycle services, establishing strong working relationships with clients. Liaise proactively with Audit Partners and Onshore Managers to provide insights and resolve queries. Conduct audits across various entities including SMEs, charities, and companies in different industry sectors. Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable UK GAAP standards. Perform corporation tax and trust tax computations as part of audit assignments. Ensure audit files are well-documented and compliant with professional standards. Maintain updated knowledge on auditing and accounting regulations relevant to the UK. Contribute to internal process improvements and client service efficiency.
Required Skills and Competencies
Professional Qualification: ACCA Qualified or equivalent UK-recognised qualification.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of end-to-end audit experience in UK audit engagements. Strong knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 102 1A, and other UK GAAP disclosures. Clear working knowledge of statutory accounts and audit methodologies. Ability to handle multiple engagements under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality. Proficiency in using audit and accounting software (e.g., Caseware, IRIS, CCH – as applicable). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with UK teams. Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset. Experience working in an outsourced or offshore setup is preferred.
