Role Description The Audit Assistant will support audit engagements and related assurance assignments for a variety of clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing financial audits, reviewing financial statements, preparing working papers and draft audit reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations. The role involves collecting and analyzing financial data, documenting audit findings, and coordinating with senior team members to address client queries and follow-up actions. The Audit Assistant will also help in conducting stock audits, GST-related audits, and bank audits as required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, requiring regular interaction with clients and the internal audit team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Finance concepts.
- Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with Financial Audits and Audit Reports and ITRs
- Candidates should possess proficiency with basic accounting software and MS Excel.
- Relevant academic background in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or completed CA/Intermediate levels is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work to deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and internal coordination.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to changing regulations, and handle multiple assignments on-site in Indore.
