Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist, Assistant Audiologist, Speech Language Pathologist, Assistant SLP roles based in Jalandhar and our other clinics across Punjab. You will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including audiometric tests and other diagnostic procedures, to identify hearing and related communication disorders. Responsibilities include interpreting test results, counseling clients and families on findings, and recommending appropriate interventions such as hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and therapy plans. The role involves fitting, programming, and adjusting hearing aids and devices, as well as providing follow-up care and ongoing support. The Audiologist will maintain accurate clinical documentation, collaborate with other speech and hearing professionals, and participate in community outreach or education activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Flexible to work from Punjab
- Clinical audiology skills, including hearing assessments, diagnostic testing, and interpretation of results.
- Proficiency in fitting, programming, and troubleshooting hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Strong patient counseling skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and compassionately.
- Solid documentation and record-keeping abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to clinical standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary speech and hearing care team.
- Relevant degree in Audiology or Speech and Hearing (e.g., BASLP, MASLP, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Professional registration or licensure in Audiology as required by local regulations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advances in audiology and hearing technology.
- Prior clinical experience in an audiology or hearing care setting is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated early-career professionals.
