Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Audiologist for an on-site position in Bengaluru. In this role, the Audiologist will perform diagnostic audiological evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and follow-up appointments. Responsibilities also include recommending treatment plans, counseling patients and their families, maintaining accurate patient records, and staying updated on the latest advancements in audiology. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and educating patients on hearing protection strategies will also be key components of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting audiological evaluations, including hearing and balance tests
- Experience with hearing aid selection, fitting, and adjustments
- Strong counseling and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families
- Familiarity with industry advancements and best practices in audiology
- Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and patient note documentation
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology or a related field.
- State licensure and certifications as per regulatory guidelines.
- Experience working with diverse age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations, is advantageous
