Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Audiologist will perform comprehensive hearing assessments, including audiometric testing, tympanometry, and other diagnostic procedures, and will interpret results to develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include fitting and programming hearing aids and assistive devices, providing counseling and education to clients and families on hearing loss and device use, and conducting follow-up visits to monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as required, and contributing to community outreach and hearing education initiatives.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology, Speech and Hearing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting and programming, and management of various types of hearing loss.
- Strong communication and counseling abilities to clearly explain test results, treatment options, and device usage to clients and families.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to professional and ethical standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team and to engage in community education and outreach related to hearing health.
- Current registration or licensure to practice audiology in India, or eligibility to obtain it, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
