Role Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Remote & On-Site Support Technician with a strong background in Audio-Visual (AV) systems and live broadcast environments. This role supports high-visibility meetings, executive sessions, and live streaming events, requiring confidence, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional customer service skills to ensure seamless delivery of conferencing and broadcast solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting & Conferencing Support
- Provide on-site and remote support for voice, video, and web conferencing technologies, including Microsoft Teams.
- Support hybrid meetings and executive-level sessions with a high standard of service.
- Ensure all conferencing systems are tested and fully operational prior to meetings and events.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting during live meetings and virtual sessions.
Live Broadcast & Streaming Support
- Support and manage live broadcasts, streaming events, and production environments.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV and broadcast equipment to ensure flawless delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal technical teams to execute successful broadcast and conferencing solutions.
- Maintain operational readiness of production tools and workflows.
User Enablement & Continuous Improvement
- Confidently engage with executive stakeholders and clients.
- Demonstrate and train users on new technologies and technical procedures.
- Contribute to ongoing service improvements across technical systems and operational processes.
- Effectively manage time and prioritize multiple concurrent events or support requests.
- Support flexible shifts and occasional on-call responsibilities based on business needs.
Required Technical Skills - Strong expertise in Audio-Visual (AV) systems and enterprise video conferencing technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams.
- Proven experience in broadcasting, live production, or corporate streaming environments.
- Practical experience with live production and streaming tools, including:
- vMix
- ATEM Mini
- OBS Studio
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across AV systems, broadcast equipment, and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Windows (PC) and macOS environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in on-site IT support, AV operations, live broadcast, or corporate conferencing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Broadcasting, Media Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure, high-visibility environments.
