Position: Audio Engineer
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $25 - $55/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Perform audio QA to identify, document, and resolve quality issues in audio datasets.
- Analyze, process, and prepare audio files using professional audio tools.
- Restore and enhance recordings to ensure clarity, fidelity, and consistency.
- Analyze complex waveforms and provide detailed technical insights and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on audio quality standards.
- Maintain high attention to detail across all stages of audio processing.
- Communicate findings and technical information clearly in written and verbal formats.
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience in audio QA, restoration, and audio tool usage.
- Strong analytical skills in waveform analysis and audio diagnostics.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with audio processing workflows and dataset preparation.
