About the role
Paid Time Off & Other Perks for U.S. Audible Employees Effective March 2025 for Audible employees Vacation Regular time away from work is essential for employees to recharge and renew. Vacation time is accrued on a semi-monthly basis; however the annual allotment is frontloaded (pro-rated) at the time of hire and then at the beginning of each calendar year thereafter. Employee tenure Vacation hours per year (full-time employee 0-5 years 120 hours (15 days) 5-10 years 160 hours (20 days) 10+ years 200 hours (25 days) Paid Personal Time (PTO) and Floating Holidays Employees outside of California receive three (3) personal days to be used for any purpose. Regular full-time employees accrue paid personal time off (PTO) each month at a rate equal to three days per year. California-based employees receive three (3) floating holidays (and no personal days) that can be used only on one of the following dates: Day after Labor Day Columbus Day Veterans Day Employee's birthday Employee's anniversary with the company Any recognized religious holiday Wellness Days (2025) Take off two additional Fridays to focus on wellness, prorated based on start date. Sick Time Full-time employees receive at least five (5) paid sick days per year, with some variation based on local, city and state ordinances. Paid Holidays Audible employees receive the following paid holidays: New Year's Day Martin Luther King, Jr. Day President's Day Memorial Day Juneteenth Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Day after Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Leaves of Absence In general, leaves of absence are available to eligible employees for time off due to a qualifying medical condition, or that of a qualified family member. Including: Bereavement Jury/witness duty Medical Personal Pregnancy and Parental Leave Pre-partum Leave Post-partum Leave Parental Leave Optional Leave-share Ramp Back program Commuter Audible provides parking or a transit subsidy toward your incurred expenses.
