Data Analyst, Business Solutions Co-Op

Audax is looking for a dynamic, motivated Data Analyst Co-Op to join the business solutions team. This position will be responsible for supporting the company’s Business Intelligence (“BI”) strategy with hands-on experience in data analytics, data modeling, and Business Intelligence. You will collaborate with the business intelligence, finance, strategic resources and deal teams and to design, develop, and maintain data models, ensure data quality and integrity, and contribute to the expansion of the company's BI strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing, implementing, maintaining and scaling Audax’s BI reporting and Semantic Layer Supporting Business Solutions and other strategic resources functions with Power BI and Data Analytics development. Work with professionals to scale their semantic layer within the company’s cloud enterprise data warehouse. Play an integral role in designing ETL processes and analytic pipeline for investment professionals. Assist with implementation of data governance policies, including data cataloging and data lineage. Provide data validation and data quality assessments. Identifying and resolving data anomalies. Technology Competencies Proficient in Power BI and SQL required. Experience designing and implementing optimal data models. Familiarity in on-premise and cloud-based databases a plus. Familiarity in tabular modeling a plus. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Accounting, Analytics Engineering, or another related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous Co-Op or full-time experience in a related field is a plus. Experience taking large data sets, and cleaning/distilling these datasets. Experience with python a plus Experience with Alteryx and it’s advanced capabilities a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Ability to interact in an efficient and meaningful way with all levels of the organization required. LOCATION: Boston, MA. This position is 40 hours/week and in the office 3 days/week. These in-office requirements may be adjusted based on the needs of the business. Dates: July 7, 2025 - December 12, 2025
