Data Engineering Intern

2025 Auctane Summer Internship Program Applicants must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university Interviews: On a rolling basis through March, 2025 First Day of onsite Orientation: June 3, 2025 Last day of the Internship Program: August 7, 2025 This is a paid internship Ability to work 40 hours per week (except for the week of July 4th) Position is hybrid in Austin, TX (Monday & Friday remotely & Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office) This is an internship role within the Engineering department. What will you be doing? Collaborating with a team of data scientists to complete AI and machine learning projects Writing code and contributing to software projects Participating in code reviews and pair programming sessions Learning and using new technologies and programming languages as needed Solving technical problems and debugging issues Participating in meetings and project planning sessions Gaining exposure to and learning about different aspects of the software development lifecycle What are we looking for? Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science or a related field Proficiency in Python programming Strong problem-solving and communication skills A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies Located in or near the Austin, Texas area Evidence of your proficiency in one or more areas of the technical stack below The Tech Python Nice to have: PyTorch, Polars, Airflow SQL Git AWS/GCP BigQuery/Redshift Vertex AI/Sagemaker
