Job Description

We’re hiring an AI Engineer to help drive development of our multimodal agentic tutor—an intelligent, interactive learning companion built entirely in TypeScript. You’ll play a hands-on role in coding, architecture, and prompt engineering as we push the boundaries of how students engage with AI in real-time across text, visuals, and audio.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership position at the intersection of product, research, and infrastructure. You’ll help shape the underlying architecture, define new agent behaviors, and fine-tune model components to deliver a world-class tutoring experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build key components of our multimodal tutor in TypeScript
  • Lead architectural decisions across evolving agentic flows and system design
  • Write and maintain prompt logic and orchestration for real-time student interaction
  • Implement and refine agent behaviors, memory, and multimodal response strategies
  • Collaborate closely with product and education teams to guide tutor effectiveness
  • Fine-tune and evaluate components of the tutor framework for performance and personalization
  • Stay current with rapid developments in multimodal models and agentic frameworks—bringing new ideas into production
Qualifications
  • Strong engineering background with advanced TypeScript skills
  • Experience building real-time, interactive, or AI-integrated applications
  • 2+ years working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or multi-agent systems
  • Ability to lead architectural design in fast-evolving environments
  • Interest in multimodal systems (text, images, audio) and their educational applications
  • Passion for improving how students learn, with a builder’s mindset and high ownership
