Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OPD and inpatient endocrinology care, covering diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, metabolic bone disorders, obesity and endocrine emergencies.
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centred and safe clinical care, including appropriate documentation, medication safety, follow-up and continuity of care.
- Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives, including monitoring of relevant clinical KPIs and NABH compliance.
- Participate in research, clinical audits, teaching and mentoring of junior doctors, residents, nurses, diabetes educators and allied healthcare professionals.
- Support service development, multidisciplinary collaboration, academic activities and institutional outreach, with opportunities for professional and leadership growth.
Qualifications and experience
- DM/DNB/Fellowship in Endocrinology or an equivalent NMC recognized qualification.
- Valid DMC registration certificate.
- Relevant experience in clinical endocrinology and diabetes care will be preferred.
- Strong interest in patient safety and clinical quality will be an advantage.
