Introducing the Atom Graduate Scheme Our scheme provides a gateway into fintech for talented and motivated people. Every year, we will welcome a new intake of graduates to our bank where they benefit from a positive blend of knowledge sharing, hands on experience and personal development. When you start our Graduate Scheme, you'll begin by joining one of our graduate value streams: Business, Tech or Finance. We are keen to create the future leaders of Atom, so each one of our schemes is structured to give you a comprehensive overview of our organisation! Our schemes in the Business and Tech value streams run for two years, and our scheme in the Finance value stream runs for three years to allow time to study for a professional finance qualification (Atom funded, of course). Women in Technology Scholarships Atom supports the Anne-Marie Imafidon Women in Technology scholarships that provides scholarships to two women from low-income backgrounds studying computer science at Durham University. Placements for students Every year our Credit Risk function partners with final-year Maths and Statistics students from Durham University, where we provide students with laptops, access to our data and an exciting project to tackle! EY Foundation Smart Futures work experience Six students from Durham Sixth Form College spend a week at Atom during Easter as part of the EY Foundation Smart Futures work experience. Atom Futures Fund Atom Futures Fund offers financial support for low-income or in care Year 13 students from schools in County Durham who apply to Russell Group Universities.
