Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) Specialist to oversee the technical lifecycle of our AWG product line. You will be responsible for system optimization, prototype testing, troubleshooting, filtration/condensation efficiency improvements, and supporting technical installations
Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Optimization: Evaluate and improve the thermodynamic, refrigeration, and condensation efficiency of AWG units ranging from domestic (30LPD) to commercial/industrial capacities (up to 1,000+ LPD).
- Filtration & Water Quality Management: Oversee multi-stage water filtration, UV/Ozone sterilization, and re-mineralization processes to maintain WHO and BIS drinking water safety standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct performance testing across varying relative humidity (RH%) and ambient temperature conditions to establish baseline generation rates and power consumption efficiencies.
- Field Maintenance & Technical Support: Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, compressor, refrigerant (R134a/R410a), and PCB controller issues on-site and offer escalation support to field engineers.
- Integration Support: Assist in integrating AWG systems with off-grid renewable power systems (e.g., Solar PV/hybrid systems).
- Vendor & Component Sourcing: Coordinate with suppliers for specialized components such as food-grade compressors, hydrophilic coils, air-water filters, and pumps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC).
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs), commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems, dehumidifiers, or advanced water purification/RO systems.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, compressor loads, condensers, evaporators, and airflow dynamics.
- Sound knowledge of multi-stage water treatment (Carbon filters, Ultrafiltration, Mineralization, UV/Ozone dosing).
- Exposure to micro-controllers, IoT tracking, or PLC-based control panels used in water machines.
Soft Skills:Problem-solving mindset, strong analytical skills, ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, and good technical documentation skills.
