We're looking for engineers with grit and vision who want to build a modern platform to make travelling efficient and delightful. This role is critical to achieving our goals: expanding coverage to support more destinations worldwide, automating entire processes, and reducing support volume to offer a truly self-served experience. We talk to customers daily, ship code several times a day, and measure every little interaction!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build cutting-edge infrastructure to expand our coverage to over 50 destinations, enabling 10x growth.
- Automate the entire visa workflow, from the smallest of manual tasks to helping us keep SLA under 60 seconds.
- Build tools and systems to reduce support volume to less than 3%.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer at a SaaS or technology company, with a strong understanding of modern web application development.
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript /
- TypeScript (including ES6+ syntax).
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries such as React / Vue.js .
- Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate design mockups into interactive web experiences.
- Experience building micro-interactions and animations using CSS as well as JavaScript.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and working with source control systems, preferably Github.
- Ability to work collaboratively within engineering and across functional teams.
- Passion for delivering high-quality and powerful products while championing technical excellence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to crafting clean, reliable, and highly maintainable code.
- Experience with test-driven development and pair programming.
- A mindset that embraces tradeoffs in technologies and programming languages, with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed
