About the role

The Aerodynamics Department plays a critical role in developing innovative solutions that enhance the performance of our Formula 1 car. A large variety of high-level skills are essential to guarantee the best possible results though each step of the aerodynamic development from inception to final product. Such skills are creativity, ingenuity, organization, analytical skills, attention to detail, people and process management. Aerodynamics Development Graduate We're looking for an Aerodynamics Development Graduate to join our high-performance team and help shape the aerodynamic strategy that drives Williams Racing forward. In this role, you'll design and analyse aerodynamic concepts using CAD and CFD tools, interpret performance data to refine car components, and contribute directly to improving race pace and achieving our goal of returning to the top of the constructors' championship. We're looking for someone who can: Shape The Future Contribute creative and technical ideas to the aerodynamic development of the Williams Formula 1 car. Use CAD and CFD tools to design and simulate innovative aerodynamic concepts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including model design, wind tunnel engineers, and the model shop to bring ideas to life. Embrace continuous learning and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Find Your Place Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficient in CAD software and data analysis tools. Experience with CFD software and a solid understanding of race car aerodynamics and technical regulations. Passion for motorsport and a drive to contribute to a winning team. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Make Real Impact Analyse aerodynamic data and generate reports to inform design decisions. Participate in wind tunnel testing and support the refinement of car components. Demonstrate attention to detail, accountability, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work.
