About the role

The goal for our GET program in the Department of Product Ownership is to forge the future leaders of electric mobility. We are seeking a select few to navigate through the complexities of building technology and manufacturing products with a first principles approach, and be at the forefront of driving Ather's mission. Over 24 months, you will embark on a high-velocity journey through Ather's development ecosystem. It is a fully immersive experience to build a product owner from the ground up. Each rotation is a deep dive into a specific function, where you will be given meaningful, technically challenging work that supports critical business priorities. Phase 1: Engineering and validation - Hands-on understanding of what it takes to build our products - vehicle engineering, powertrain dynamics, battery technology and software. Own a component or part of code and ship it to our customers. Understand the way we build our technology fundamentally. Phase 2: Industrialisation and supply-chain - Work alongside our manufacturing engineering and supply-chain teams to take a design from a prototype to industrialising it for scale. Learn what it takes to work with partner suppliers, and the considerations (financial, operational and technical) at play for manufacturing parts that need to be supplied at scale at utmost reliability. Phase 3: Financial acumen - get acquainted with financial tools that help to do what it takes to run development operations including budgeting, setting PnL targets, technology benchmarking, zero-based costing, and writing out compelling business cases for pitching newer ideas. Post an assessment at the end of 2 years including technical depth as well as soft skills such as the ability to negotiate, lead without formal authority and being comfortable working with ambiguity, you shall commence work as a Product Owner / Associate Product Owner for one of our modules.

About the company
