ASU Prep is looking for a Technical Product Manager (Contractor) who shall provide technical product management services to support the development and maintenance of ASU Preparatory Academy’s digital learning platforms. The scope includes:
- Technical Product Strategy – Define and prioritize technical requirements, collaborating with engineering teams to scope and implement scalable solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Engage with instructional designers, administrators, and educators to understand K-12 education needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Technical Support Management – Manage technical support via ticketing systems (Asana and Fresh Service), handle tier 3 escalation issues, and ensure prompt resolution. Document and communicate bug reports effectively to development teams.
- Technical Expertise – Serve as a key contact for API integrations, authentication standards, and edtech interoperability.
- Integration Management – Oversee integration with systems like Ed.link, LTI, Canvas, and Moodle to enhance platform functionality.
- Technical Discovery – Evaluate and recommend solutions to improve platform performance, security, and scalability.
- Communication – Bridge technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear and actionable product planning.
Deliverables
The Contractor shall deliver the following outcomes:
- A technical roadmap aligned with ASU Preparatory Academy’s digital strategy.
- Detailed technical requirements documentation for platform enhancements.
- Regular updates on support issue resolution and system performance improvements.
- Reports on API integrations and technical evaluations.
- Documentation for internal teams on platform integrations and best practices.

- Must be available during working hours in U.S. timezone
- 50 weeks contract
