Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dwarka for an Astronomy Teacher. The Astronomy Teacher will design and deliver engaging lesson plans on astronomy and space science to learners of varying ages and backgrounds. Responsibilities include conducting educational workshops, guiding stargazing sessions, ensuring interactive and hands-on learning experiences, and fostering a love for exploration and scientific inquiry among participants. The Teacher will support curriculum development and collaborate with the team to enhance the quality of educational programming.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing and implementing effective Lesson Planning and educational activities
- Strong background in Education and Teaching methods
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to engage audiences of all ages
- Experience in Training individuals in astronomy or related subjects
- Passion for astronomy and science education
- Flexibility to work on-site and during evenings for stargazing activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy, Physics, Education, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus)
