Medical Science Liaison, Cardiovascular & Metabolic Diseases

The Medical Science Liaison will be responsible for providing scientific and medical support to key external stakeholders, primarily healthcare professionals, to drive evidence-based use of AstraZeneca's innovative cardiovascular and metabolic disease products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute evidence-based scientific exchange plans to support product understanding and appropriate utilization - Provide scientific expertise and medical education to external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, to drive scientific exchange and evidence-based treatment decisions - Identify, capture, and disseminate insights from external stakeholders to inform medical and commercial strategy - Support the development of medical affairs content, including presentations, publications, and other scientific materials - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on medical affairs activities and support the achievement of business objectives - Maintain high levels of scientific and medical expertise through continuous learning and development
