Senior Scientist, Biologics Process Development

Astellas is seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Biologics Process Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing upstream and downstream processes for the manufacture of biologics drug products. You will apply your expertise in cell culture, downstream purification, analytical characterization, and scale-up to drive process development for various biologics programs. This includes designing and executing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, and communicating results to cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, an ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
