What this job involves:
As a Asst Technical Manager at JLL, you will lead with a vision, shaping a brighter way for our clients and teams, while empowering each member to thrive. Your role will be crucial in guiding multiple cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. What your day-to-day will look like:
Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Oversee engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
Collaborate with product management and other departments to define engineering priorities and align with business objectives.
Drive innovation by implementing cutting-edge technologies and solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Establish and nurture a culture of open communication and continuous improvement within the team.
Optimize engineering processes and workflows for increased productivity and effectiveness.
Monitor and manage engineering budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Co-ordination with Project team for project work, reviewing of drawing and project document
Co-ordination with Landlord team for operational challenges
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, electrical or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on collaboration.
Deep understanding of engineering methodologies and best practices.
Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the commercial real estate industry or a related field.
Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous learning.
Prior experience in a global or multicultural work environment.
Proven ability to foster team wellbeing and champion a culture of inclusivity and belonging.
Strong track record of driving career development within your teams.
