Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor in Law located in Bengaluru South. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development in the fields of Law, including Constitutional and Criminal Law. The responsibilities also include conducting research, publishing scholarly articles, and participating in academic activities to promote the overall growth of the department and institution. Additionally, the role involves guiding students in their preparation for competitive exams such as CLAT and other law-related tests.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Law, particularly in areas such as Constitutional Law and Criminal Law
- Strong ability to conduct research and contribute to academic publications
- Proficiency in teaching and mentoring students at an undergraduate or postgraduate level
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Law or a closely related field (required)
- Experience in preparing students for competitive law exams, such as CLAT, is a plus
- Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
- Ability to contribute to course design and curriculum development
