Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated senior executive to join our sales team. The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue growth by effectively managing the sales process within the construction materials sector. This involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, consultants, and builders, while promoting our innovative product offerings. The position will require strategic thinking and a thorough understanding of industry trends to enhance our market position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and maximize revenue.
- Establish and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, and construction professionals.
- Identify emerging market trends and customer needs to inform product development.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment in sales initiatives and client solutions.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and report on progress against goals.
- Provide feedback to the product development team regarding customer expectations and market gaps.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to promote company offerings.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings) sales and solutions.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles applicable to construction projects.
- Knowledge of building materials and their application in different construction scenarios.
- Familiarity with façade systems and daylighting solutions.
- Proficient in the use of CRM software and sales analytics tools for tracking performance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to construction materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the construction materials sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and site visits.
