Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager Purchase, located in Shirur. The Assistant Manager Purchase will be responsible for managing procurement activities, negotiating with vendors, coordinating with internal departments, implementing purchase strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. The role requires ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and monitoring inventory levels to support production needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Procurement Management, Vendor Negotiation, and Supply Chain Coordination
- Ability to develop Purchase Strategies and ensure cost optimization
- Strong Analytical Thinking, Decision-Making, and Problem-Solving skills
- Knowledge of Industry Standards, Compliance, and relevant Quality Standards
- Excellent Communication, Organizational, and Time Management skills
- Proficiency in working with ERP systems or other procurement tools
- Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
