Role Description The Asst Manager Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Aurangabad, responsible for overseeing day-to-day print or digital production activities. The role includes coordinating with editorial, design, and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate page layout, content placement, and final output. The person in this position monitors production schedules, manages last-minute changes, and ensures quality standards and brand guidelines are consistently met. They help optimize workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and liaise with vendors or printing units as needed. The role also involves maintaining documentation, reporting on production performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
Qualifications
- Experience in newspaper, magazine, or media production management, with the ability to coordinate daily production workflows.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with production-related tools or software (e.g., layout or page-making systems) and basic understanding of print or digital publishing processes.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with editorial, design, and technical teams.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to troubleshoot production issues under time pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Printing Technology, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a media house or printing environment in a supervisory or coordination role is an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site, deadline-driven environment and willingness to work flexible hours as required by production schedules.
