Job Title: Assistant General Manager – Credit - MEQ
Department: Credit
Product Ticket Size: ₹1 Crore to ₹10 Crores
Job Summary:
The Credit Manager – MEQ will be responsible for end-to-end credit appraisal of proposals under the MEQ product, with ticket sizes ranging from ₹1 Crore to ₹10 Crores. The role requires strong financial analysis, risk evaluation, and adherence to internal credit policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed credit appraisal of MEQ cases (₹1Cr – ₹10Cr).
- Analyze financial statements, ITRs, bank statements, CMA data, and cash flow projections.
- Evaluate borrower profile, repayment capacity, and collateral/security coverage.
- Prepare detailed credit notes with risk assessment and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Technical, and Risk teams for smooth processing and disbursement.
- Monitor portfolio quality and identify early warning signals.
- Maintain defined TAT for case processing.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
Key Requirements:
- CA / MBA (Finance) / Equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in SME / LAP / MEQ / Secured Lending underwriting.
- Experience handling high-value ticket sizes (₹1Cr – ₹10Cr).
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases.
