The International Federation of Esports (IFES) is a global body committed to promoting esports through international tournaments, conferences, industry collaborations, and ecosystem development. IFES connects gaming publishers, teams, brands, investors, and governments to build a sustainable global esports ecosystem.


The Asst. Director – Esports Events & Conference Sales will lead revenue generation and commercial strategy for IFES’s global events, including esports tournaments, conferences, summits, and expos. The role is responsible for driving sponsorship sales, exhibition revenue, delegate participation, and strategic partnerships at an international scale.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Commercial Strategy & Revenue Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy for esports events and conferences
  • Drive revenue through: Title & presenting sponsorships, Exhibition/booth, Conference delegate sales
  • Media and brand partnerships
  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets
  • Lead sales for conference passes, speaking slots, and group bookings
  • Engage with CXOs, founders, policymakers, and esports professionals
  • Position IFES events as must-attend global industry platforms
  • Identify and engage global brands, gaming companies, tech firms, and agencies
  • Create customized sponsorship proposals and brand integration opportunities
  • Close high-value, multi-year partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Drive participation from gaming companies, hardware brands, startups, and platforms
  • Maximize expo occupancy and exhibitor experience
  • Ensure strong representation of global esports ecosystem players


Global Business Development and Client Management

  • Expand IFES presence in international markets
  • Build relationships with regional partners, event collaborators, and industry bodies
  • Identify new revenue streams and cross-border opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and partners
  • Ensure delivery of sponsorship commitments and ROI-driven engagement
  • Drive client retention, renewals, and upselling


KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8–15 years of experience in event sales, sponsorship sales, or media/commercial roles
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and partnerships
  • Strong network with global brands, agencies, and esports/gaming ecosystem
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven global environment


REMUNERATION:

Between INR 600,000/- to INR 800,000/- + Variables
