Job details:
We are looking for a proactive, highly organized Asst. Content Producer to join our
production team. You will be responsible for the "end-to-end; execution of video segments.
This role is a mix of logistics, creative direction, and project management. You will be the
bridge between our external partners and our internal team, ensuring that every shoot is
well-planned, expertly directed, and organised for the edit.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production & Sourcing:
o Identify and reach out to external partners to secure locations, products, or
interview subjects.
o Negotiate access and build the shoot schedule, ensuring all logistics are
airtight.
Stakeholder Coordination:
o Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams (to ensure the shoot
aligns with goals.
o Lead briefing calls with talent and crew to align on the creative vision, shot
lists, and deliverables.
On-Set Direction:
o Direct on-site shoots, managing both the creative look and feel and the
technical requirements.
o Interview subjects or guide talent to ensure the narrative fits the segment
goals.
Post-Production Hand-off:
o Maintain a detailed production log (slate notes, best takes, and timecodes)
during the shoot.
o Manage data offloading and upload raw footage to the internal drive,
ensuring a clean, organised folder structure for the editors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in TV production, digital media, or a similar content creation
role.
Communication: Exceptional phone and email etiquette for pitching to
stakeholders and leading internal meetings.
Logistics: A "problem-solver mindset
Technical Savvy: Basic understanding of camera operations, lighting, and sound;
proficiency in Google Drive/Dropbox for file management.
Organisation: High attention to detail, specifically regarding naming conventions and
footage logging.
