Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Associate Video Editor who can turn raw footage into clean, engaging, and platform-ready video content. This role is ideal for someone with strong editing basics, storytelling sense, and the ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
What you’ll work on
- Edit raw footage into polished video content.
- Cut videos for reels, ads, promos, and social media.
- Add music, sound effects, captions, and transitions.
- Maintain pacing, continuity, and visual clarity.
- Adapt videos for different formats and platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on briefs.
- Organize project files and export final deliverables.
- Revise edits based on feedback and brand needs.
- Support simple animations or motion elements when needed.
- Stay updated on editing trends and creative styles.
What we’re looking for
- 2 to 3 years of experience in video editing or similar creative roles.
- A strong portfolio or sample reel of edited work.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing tools.
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, timing, and continuity.
- Ability to edit videos for digital and social media platforms.
- Good sense of audio, subtitles, and basic visual polish.
- Strong time management and deadline discipline.
- Good communication and ability to work with feedback.
- Motion design experience will be an added advantage.
- Colour grading experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience creating immersive or complex transitions between shots will be an added advantage.
