Role Description
This full-time, on-site Associate Vice President – Technology Procurement role is based in Hyderabad. The role involves leading strategic IT procurement activities, analyzing technology needs, and aligning procurement strategies with business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include vendor negotiations, contract management, developing IT strategies, implementing cost-effective procurement solutions, managing related projects, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The AVP will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation and optimize technology investments.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Strategic Planning abilities to assess and develop technology procurement strategies.
- Proven expertise in Information Technology and IT Strategy, with a deep understanding of technological trends and requirements.
- Experience in Project Management to oversee technology procurement processes and ensure timely delivery.
- Capability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contractual terms.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT Management, or a related field.
- Experience in technology procurement or IT management roles with a strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.
